The 37th Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) is a lavish event that features over a hundred films from around the world. It also features parties with celebrity guests and moments that are made even more special by the South Florida sunset. The festival will dazzle and delight from the opening night party at Hard Rock Hollywood to the Winterfest at Villa de Palma. The Fort Lauderdale Film Festival is an annual event in November that features over 100 foreign and American films. 

This year’s festival runs from November 4 to November 13. FLIFF features a wide range of international features, documentaries, and short films, and it's always packed with parties and celebrity guests. Some of the highlights of this year's event include Rob Margolies' psychological drama Bobcat Moretti, which is about an obese man with MS, and the dark comedy Corner Office, which stars John Hamm. The opening night film is American Dreamer, directed by Paul Dektor, and stars Peter Dinklage, Danny Glover, and Shirley Maclaine.

Over the years, many celebrities have attended the festival. These include Matt Damon, Jeremy Renner, Ann-Margret, Audrey Hepburn, Irene Cara, Talia Shire, and Beverly D’Angelo. Also, Anna Paquin, Amy Madigan, Ed Harris, Lea Thompson, and Davy Jones.

The FLIFF runs every year and features the latest international and American films at Savor Cinema and Cinema Paradiso throughout the year. Theatre rentals are also available for business and personal events during the off-season. 

The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival is a not-for-profit organization and is one of the state's highest-rated film festivals. It is also one of the five major cultural institutions in Florida.
