A Fort Lauderdale Hidden Gem Have you visited Fort Lauderdale's FIRST food hall? The Sistrunk Marketplace offers a variety of ethnic food and drinks from different countries. It’s fun to sample these cuisines while enjoying music and dining on the patio or inside. The 40,000-square-foot complex was opened in 2020 and features a brewery, distillery, and food hall. It’s the first of its kind in Fort Lauderdale. 

There are several food vendors at Sistrunk Marketplace, and there is truly something for any palate! The patio is pet-friendly, and each vendor has a kitchen and chefs. Try Italian fare, sushi, sandwiches, coffee, tacos, crepes, and more! 

The Central Bar is also the perfect place to grab a drink with friends! Located in the center of the marketplace, The Central Bar is well-stocked with various products and your favorite spirits. Plus, visit Dream State Brewing to try some local beer. 

Live music and local DJs set the scene every weekend! You can also join for open mic nights and karaoke if you wish. There is also a studio onsite that teaches aspiring DJs how to mix and match music using various equipment and controllers. 

Sistrunk Marketplace also hosts various experiences throughout the facility, integrating food, music, and other entertainment options: pizza tastings, 4-course meals, distillery dinners, and immersive multi-sensory dinners. You can also browse products and artwork by local artisans at SistrunKollective. The venue is also available for corporate events, social gatherings, and weddings. 

The Sistrunk Marketplace allows groups of 16 or more to reserve a table. Check their website for current availability and to make a reservation. For large groups, they try to keep everyone close to each other but can't guarantee that everyone will be seated at once. If you plan on coming by, have a drink at the bar and have a great time. To get there, the parking lot near the Shady Distillery is free for the first hour and $3 for every hour afterward.
